you know what i want?
i wanna be a writer and sit by the window with my macbook and write about my life and wear designer shoes in my cute new york west village apartment like carrie bradshaw.
excited for january’s mens fashion week. i currently know nothing about menswear. how sad is that
so i didnt have class today, which meant i got to wake up when i actually wanted to. worked on design in the lab for several hours. then i had dinner with my friend leah. we havent seen each other since her birthday, which was over a month ago i believe. its so sad because we used to live on the same floor last year and i saw her on a daily basis, sometimes, 20 hours in a day. i swear. we used to watch movies in the hallway, and make noise and have people join us. it was so cute. so what happened? i wish it was easier to say that we had an argument and haven’t been friends since, but it was never like that. we are still so fond of one another. which makes me wonder why the distance? our friendship was, or shall i say IS slipping. and tonight let us catch up, i still think it’ll never be the same as it was last year, but thats life. friends come, and friends go. i continued my night at the lab, meeting up with jenni, mel and fonzie. for the first time, in a long time, working on hw was actually fun. it made me feel comfortable being where i was. it felt so right, yet im just as confused as ever. my life seems to always be up in the air. what happened to all the passion and ambition? i sometimes wonder if its still in me, and when i doubt that its there, i find myself in search of it once again. is this how it works? how do you go about searching for something when you dont know what you’re looking for? i had a very enjoyable night. went home and decorated my bed with xmas lights, and had green tea ice cream + twix. such a good combo. and on top of that, i was watching the season finale of GLEE, which was amazing by the way. im going to bed now. i have so much more to work on tomorrow. i love random yet pleasant wednesdays.
